Danba Gyaron Tibetan Village Central town in Gyaron Tibetan area. The town itself is a little modern but there is a lot of ethnic small villages around this area.   Danba is famous as the "thousand stone castle kingdom", with many old stone castles or watchtowers "Qinglong" scattered over the county.   Offerings made with Yak butter oil and Zangpa (Tiebtan barley).     An un-named Qiang Minority Village One of the oldest known minorities in the country with a history. The Qiang are known as "the nation in the clouds" because they live next to mountains. If you join Sim's tour, we don't take you to touristic TaoPing village, we can show you just simple life of local people. The blockhouses, rope bridges, plank roads and weirs have high artistic value. The blockhouses vary in height, and are anywhere from 10 to 30 meters (33 - 98 feet) tall, made of stone and clay.   When you explore the village you would find something very special.   Stay and at a local family's house. The home made dishes are really warm hearted.     A Tibetan Village near Songpan Songpan is famous for horse trekking and many travellers visit. But the place we take you is quiet small village near Songpan. This is also a pure Tibetan culuture area. Temples are very essential in their life.   Drink home made Tibetan Varley Wine. This is the way they receive guests warmly.   Luckly we saw local people are helding ceremony at the temple. Four Girls area are losing the way to earn money for their life. So we hope more travellers can visit especially for now! It is very quiet and you can enjoy the nature.   Maki on a horse.
