Halfday Panda Tour

You can see Giant Pandas, Red Pandas and Baby Pandas (depending on season) from a very short distance in the Panda Breeding Base. Y ou can even hug a panda! You are given about 5 min u te s to hug the panda , and they will help you take photos. This is something special you can only do in Chengdu.
At the time of writing, these are the price s to have your photo taken with a panda; please make sure of the current situation if you choose to do this .

Hugging a small panda (about one year old) : about ￥ 800-1200
Standing next to big adult panda: about ￥ 400

1.Itinerary

Departure time changes depending on the season, so please ask the staff.

Summer season at 7:30am

Winter season at 8:00am

(1).Infants under 2 years old can enter for free, but will not have a separate seat in the car.

(2).There are no student or age discounts.

(3).Price includes: Transportation between our guesthouse and Panda Breeding Base and entrance ticket.

(1).The driver does not speak English, and no English explanations are provided, but he can guide you around the breeding base.

(2).Please be considerate of others who have booked this tour, and meet the driver at the requested time. We can only wait a few minutes for you after the departure time.

(3).Please show your receipt to our driver before you get in the car.

(4).Please follow the driver in a group in the Breeding Base . We will not be held responsible if you miss the car back to the hostel.

(5).You can take photos or video anywhere in the Breeding Base except the Panda Nursery, where photography is banned.

(6).During the low (winter) season, the tour will be shorter due to shorter feeding times for the Pandas.

(1).If your cancellation reaches us by 20:00pm one day before the departure date, there will be no charge.

(2).If your cancellation reaches us after 20:00pm one day before the departure date, there is a charge of RMB20/pp.

(3).If you try to cancel after the departure time or you are late because of personal reason s and the tour has already departed, there will be no refund.

(4).You can c hange the date of your tour free of charge if you ask us before 20:00pm on the day before your tour was due to leave. You may only do this twice. If you cancel the tour after changing the date, no refund will be given.

(5).If you request a c hange of date after 20:00pm on the day before the departure date, the date cannot be changed.
