Chengdu-Lhasa
The group meets at ChengDu Airport in the morning and flies to Lhasa. A local guide will meet you at Gongar Airport, and take you to your hotel. Check in and have a relaxing day, acclimatising to the altitude.

Sightseeing in Lhasa city
After breakfast, you will visit a wonder of the world? the Potala Palace. After lunch, you will visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.

Lhasa / Yangpachen hot-springs/ Lhasa
Option A: Day tour to Yangpachen. Here you will find the biggest natural hot spring in Tibet (please bring your own swimsuit if you want to enjoy the hotspring). Relax here for a little while, before taking in the sights of the Nyenchen Thanglha Range. You will return to Lhasa in the afternoon.
Option B: Day tour of NamTso Lake (not included in trip price)

Lhasa / Yamdrok Lake / Gyantse / Shigatse
We will drive along part of the Friendship Highway from Lhasa to Shigatse/Lhatse. This is a beautiful drive, and you will see one of the most picturesque and most holy lakes in Tibet, Yamdrok Tso, from the 4794m Kambala pass. Then we drive on to Shigatse through Gyantse, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Tibetan villages, monasteries and the grasslands.

Shigatse / Tashilhunpo Monastery / Lhasa
Visit Tashilhunpho Monastery. Built by a nephew of Tsongkhapa in 1447, Tashilhunpo Monastery once housed over 4000 monks, but today only around 400 call it home. The highlights here are a 27m statue of Maitreya Buddha, and the Grand Hall, which houses the tomb of the fourth Panchen Lama.
We arrive back in Lhasa in the afternoon.

Take a flight from Lhasa airport to ChengDu. This trip will end in ChengDu airport.

1. About the Charge |

(1) Meals (according to the itinerary)
(2) Accommodation (depends on the standard you specify; price varies accordingly)
(3) Chengdu−Lhasa return air ticket (this tour begins and ends at the airport; transport to and from the airport is not included)
(4) Transportation in Tibet
(5) Chinese speaking guide (there will be two guides; one you meet at ChengDu airport and another guide in Lhasa. There is no guide on the airplane)
(6) Entrance fees at the sites (there will be some other fees not included in the price, such as photography fees inside the temples)
(7) All necessary permits to carry out the above itinerary
(8) Airport tax and fuel tax
(9) Insurance; all travellers are supposed to pay the Traveller's Response Insurance, ¥10 for Chinese travellers and ¥30 for the foreign travellers. |

| All attendees must read and sign the “Notice for Group Tours in China”. |
3. Cancellation and change policy |
| If you cancel due to personal reasons, we will deduct the cancellation fee from your deposit and refund the rest. The cancellation fee is based on the actual cost of arrangement. |
(1) If your cancellation reaches us before 11:00am, 10 days before of the beginning of the trip and before issuing the air ticket, we won't charge you any cancellation fee.
(2) If your cancellation reaches us after 11:00am, 10 days before of the beginning of the trip, we will charge you based on the actual cost of arrangement, such as air tickets and so on.
(3) If your change application reaches us before 11:00am, 10 days before of the beginning of the trip:
●You can change the date of the trip one time at no extra cost.
●We will not return your money if you want to cancel the trip after the change.
(4) If your change application reaches us after 11:00am, 10 days before of the beginning of the trip, the fee will depend on how much the changes cost to arrange. It may not be possible to make the changes you request |
| 4. About the Itinerary |
(1) Altitude sickness can be a problem in and around Lhasa.
(2) Before we leave Lhasa, you can ask the guide to help if you want to buy oxygen cylinders ( 30-40yuan) or chinese herbal medicine to help prevent altitude sickness.
(3) During summertime, rain, landslides, etc, may affect your trip, and the itinerary could change from the above.
(4) If you book this tour, you must travel as a group at all times, and you will not be able to leave the group and then begin to travel separately. This is due to special restrictions from the government on travellers who travel to Tibet on Group tours .
(5) We don`t take reservations from Journalists, Officers or Army soldiers.
