Depart from ChengDu in the morning and drive to JiuZhaiGou. You will pass through DuJiangYan,WenChuan,MaoXian,SongPan,and enjoy the scenery of North Sichuan,home to the Qiang minority,still seen in their traditional costume. You will stop and have a lunch at MaoXian. (Alternatively,they may take the easten route,through MianYang,JiangYou and PingWu.) The distance is 480km long and the journey takes approximately 12hours.

JiuZhaiGou one day sight-seeing

HuangLong / MuNiGou sight-seeing & SongPan Sight-seeing

Leave the hotel after breakfast. While transfering by bus,you can enjoy watching GanHaiZi marshes out of window. (You might be asked to do an optional horse trekking or boat rafting here.) On the way,drop off at Tibetan/Qiang minority culture art memorial shop for looking or shopping for about 40 min.

Then get to HuangLong (or MouNiGou). Visit JinShaPuDi (a rare calcified lake),Colorful Lake and HuangLong Temple. Then leave for SongPan. In SongPan,visit Datang SongZhou (SongPan old town).

Return to ChengDu

After breakfast,return to ChengDu,passing WenChuan and DuJiangYan. The bus will drop you off somewhere in the center of the city. It is possible to leave the tour group and visit DuJiangYan and come back to ChengDu by yourself.

    (6).If you get off the bus at DuJiangYan,transport back to ChengDu.
    (7).Transport from where the bus drops you off to our hostel (Some guide may arrange to drop you off at the hostel).
    (8).If you do not want to share a twin room with another traveller,you will have to pay the whole room charge. You also have to pay for the room if we cannot find another traveller with whom you can share a room.
    (9).Any service not mentioned above.

    (1).This tour was started to offer better quality tour which does not spend too much time for souveiner shops. You can spend more time for sight-seeing and the tour contains more thing to see. But according to our customer’s feedback,the tour will stop at one or two shops duirng 4 days.
    (2).You wll visit JiuZhaiGou Valley and HuangLong (or MuNiGou) for sure but other sight-seeing spot and the itinerary would be changed without previous notice,because the tour organizer is exploring better sight-seeing area which attract customers more.
    (3).This tour follows quite a tight schedule,with a long time spent on buses and for sight-seeing. You will go to bed late at night and have to wake up early in the morning.
    (4).The Tibetan Dance Party and/or Roasted Sheep Bonfire Party will be available in JiuZhaiGou but we cannot tell you if they will be on the first or second day because this is decided by the tour guide based on the preference of the whole group.
    (5).On the last day,if the guide think there is enough time and most of the people in the group agree,then you will visit DuJiangYan.
    (6).It is also possible to drop off from the bus and go by yourself if the group is not going.
    (7).The weather can affect the intinerary; land slides occur during rainy season (July-- Aug).
    (8).You can have a buffet lunch for ￥40 at a restaurant in NuoRiLang by yourself.
    (9).In winter season (normally from November to April),the road to HuangLong will freeze over and the big sight-seeing bus will not be able to pass. Instead,you will visit MuNiGou Valley. We are not able to tell you exactly when the road will be closed,since it is based on the local weather conditions.

    If you cancel due to personal reasons,we will deduct the cancellation fee from your deposit and refund the rest. The cancellation fee is based on the actual cost of arrangement.

    (1).If your cancellation reaches us before 11:00am,4 days before of the beginning of the trip,we won’t charge you any cancellation fee.
    (2).If your cancellation reaches us after 11:00am,4 days before of the beginning of the trip,we will charge you based on the actual cost of arrangement.
    (3).If your change application reaches us before 11:00am,4 days before of the beginning of the trip:
        ●You can change the date of the trip one time at no extra cost.
        ●We will not return your money if you want to cancel the trip after the change.
    (4).If your change application reaches us after 11:00am,4 days before of the beginning of the trip,the fee will depend on how much the changes cost to arrange. It may not be possible to make the changes you request.

    (1).There will be a car to pick you up and take you to the meeting place for the big tour bus. When all travellers on the tour are there (about 8:00am),they will leave. Please confirm the departure time at the travel desk on the evening before the tour. Usually it is between 6:00am--7:00am. When you return,some buses do not take you back to the hostel,so please ask the guide where you will be dropped off.
    (2).The tour conditions are subject to change without notice. Please confirm with our travel office staff.
